External Event – Speaker on The Legal Status and Rights of the LGBTQ Person

The Church and Society Team and it’s Opening Minds Group Task Force at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church is gathering at 1:30 pm on Thursday, September 20th to hear attorney Richard Mahrle speak on the topic, “The Legal Status and Rights of the LGBTQ Person”. Meet in our Fellowship Hall. Rick is an attorney with the Gammage and Burham law firm. He is a member at Paradise Valley UMC and involved with their reconciliation and diversity programs. This is one of several programs we have offered this past year to educate our members and others in the community regarding issues facing LGBTQ persons. Let me know if you have questions.
