Enjoy a 90-minute scenic cruise on beautiful Lake Pleasant. Narration of the lake’s history and wildlife is provided. Cruisers will learn about Lake Pleasant, The Agua Fria River, The HoHoKom Tribe, The Old Waddell Dam, The New Waddell Dam, area wildlife and recreational activities at Lake Pleasant. You may see wild burro, deer, javalina, coyote, foxes, bald eagles, or other bird species. Lake Pleasant is a man-made Lake. The reservoir is 10,000 acres and boasts 116 miles of shoreline. The Agua Fria River features extensive canyon walls and is accessible only at certain times during the year. Come experience our oasis in the desert on this cruise. Drink specials, snacks and a full bar available (cash only).
Tickets for the special Thursday cruises are $16.00 for people 60 years of age or older. For the under-60s, the price is $22.00. All tickets can be purchased on site at the marina.
For Carpooling: Begin gathering at the staging area in the parking lot off either R. H. Johnson Blvd or Meeker Blvd. between the Library and the Bowling Alley (parking area #14) for sign in and arranging carpools. Be there at 10:45 as we will be leaving at 11:00 SHARP!

Lake Pleasant Cruises is located at Pleasant Harbor Marina in Peoria, Arizona. Please note we are NOT located at Scorpion Bay Marina. We are at the marina at the southeast corner of Lake Pleasant, located off Carefree Highway (74). Turn at 87th Avenue and follow signs to Pleasant Harbor Marina. Address: 8708 W. Important Information from the Cruise company:
Cash only on board. No outside food or beverages allowed. Boarding begins 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Pleasant Harbor Marina charges a $6.00 per vehicle ($2.00 per person on chartered buses) entry fee. No free park entry on cruises. We recommend you arrive early if you plan to utilize the golf cart shuttles. Shuttles run 24/7 and are available to anyone visiting Pleasant Harbor. Tipping your shuttle driver is recommended. Our cruises may be canceled by the Captain if extreme weather conditions are present. We do not cancel for rain.
